About Me

I was born and raised on the island of Maui. I grew up as a very imaginative child. Rather than playing with my fellow classmates, I would spend most of my recesses hanging out with the characters I made up in my head. I would come up with fun personalities in various scenarios and would express it as if the characters were speaking through me, which often led to concerned looks from passing adults. This behavior had lasted longer than what was considered acceptable for most kids. It sort of labeled me as the weird outcast growing up, never really being able to fit in wherever I was. I never really vibed with the tropical island lifestyle either. As a certain sci-fi hero once said, “I don’t like sand.”Being in my head and bringing my imagination to life were my happiest moments. In retrospect, this probably was an early indicator of what I would end up doing. It is so obvious, which makes it so funny how I didn’t consider the possibility that this could lead to something great. It took nearly fifteen years to discover theatre, another five years to consider it, and then another three years to actually go for it.What I bring into the world of voice over is an odd anomaly who doesn’t quite fit in, but is able to act as a vessel of imagination.
